After 13 years packed with amazing adventures (and occasional moments of outright terror), we have decided that it is time for us to move on. We are selling the Gyrfalcon, and will be looking for a smaller boat that will be easier for 2 senior citizens to handle.
As you know, the Gyrfalcon has undergone numerous repairs, renovations, and upgrades during our time as owners. We feel that for an 84 year old girl, she is in incredible shape.
We are looking for the next owner/steward for the Gyr; someone who will cherish her as much as we have over the years, and who will be able to take her on her next adventures – to BC, Alaska, or beyond, as she goes forward as a private yacht or a boutique charter business.
For more information about the Gyrfalcon, watch the youtube video created by Todd Powell at Chuck Hovey Yachts–link below.
We will be at the Classic Yacht Association’s Bell Harbor Rendezvous (at Bell Harbor Marina in downtown Seattle) over the Fathers’ Day Weekend (June 13-16). If you know anyone who might be interested in becoming the next owner/steward of the Gyrfalcon, please let them know, and we will be happy to show them around. Even if you’re not on the market for a boat, feel free to drop by and say hello.
